       A person who has equal amounts of vata, pitta and kapha, whose digestive system is balanced, whose seven metals are balanced, whose body excretes waste properly, and whose soul, senses and mind are happy, is called a healthy person.

    In this way, only a healthy person can live a happy life.


   Along with this, to lead a happy life, a person should follow the following rules which are as follows---

 1. One should regularly wake up in Brahma Muhurta which is 1 hour before sunrise.

2. One should develop the habit of drinking water on an empty stomach in the morning which is called Usha Paan. It cures many diseases. Water should always be drunk while sitting and never while standing.

3. After completing the morning routine, one should make it a habit to walk at a fast pace for at least two-three kilometers in the field.

4. Sprouted food should be included in breakfast every morning. This is called Amrita. Because it can be eaten only in sunlight. It contains gram, wheat, peanuts, black gram, fenugreek etc. They should be eaten after chewing them well. After this, milk should be drunk slowly in sips.

 5. Food should be eaten at regular time and food should be chewed well. At least half an hour should be taken to eat.

6. One should not eat without hunger. Salad should be used in large quantity in food. By doing this constipation never occurs.

7. Friends, after eating food, one should always rest on the left side. This helps in proper digestion.

8. Urination should be done after eating food. This will never cause back pain and you will never face stone problem.

9. In between the two meals, one should only eat fruits and juices. One should not eat any heavy food.

10. One must drink at least 3 liters of water throughout the day. Water should always be drunk slowly. Water should not be drunk in between meals. Water should be drunk at least half an hour after meals.

 11. Tea, coffee, cigarette, tobacco, paan, bhang, charas, ganja, sarab, bidi, tobacco etc. should not be consumed. These are poison for health.

12. Any urge of the body like stool, urine, sneeze, burp, flatus etc. should not be stopped.

13. Men should clench their teeth tightly while urinating. They should hold the urine in between and then release it. By doing this, there is no complaint of prostate gland. If there is a complaint, it gets cured to some extent.

14. While sleeping, the head should always be kept towards the south.

15. Bath water should neither be too cold nor too hot. After bathing, the body should be rubbed and wiped with a thick towel.

16. Food should be eaten to stay healthy and not for taste. Only satvik food is the best.

17. One should take sunlight during winter season. Sunlight provides nutrients to the body and keeps the body healthy.

18. One should fast for one day in a week on only lemon water. This will strengthen the digestive power and will also keep the health good.

19. If you are above 50 years of age, you should eat once a day and rest of the time you should survive on milk and fruits.

20. Before sleeping, you should wash and wipe your feet and sleeping while remembering your favorite deity helps in getting good sleep.

21. Dinner should be taken 3 hours before going to bed. Hands and feet should be washed with water before eating. Water should not be drunk at the beginning or at the end of the meal. 

22 One should not drink cold water after eating hot milk or hot food. Doing so weakens the teeth.

23. Banana, milk, curd, buttermilk should never be consumed together. Hot food should not be consumed with honey. Ghee and honey should never be used in equal quantities. Salt, sour fruits, curd, oil, radish etc. should not be consumed with milk.

24. In summers, one should not bathe immediately after coming from the sun. Neither should one wash hands and feet. One can bathe only after taking some rest and the sweat dries up. 

25. Staying up late at night and sleeping till late in the morning is harmful for the eyes and health.

Sunflower as a medicine

1. Grinding the seeds in the juice of sunflower leaves and applying it on the head for two to three days gives great relief in half head pain.
2. Mix sesame oil and hulhul juice in the ratio of 1:4 and cook on low flame. When the water evaporates, drip this oil in the ear. By using it in the ear for a few days, pus stops coming in the ear and deafness also goes away.
3. Grind sunflower leaves and garlic in equal amounts and apply it on the lumps in the throat. This will cause the lumps to ripen and burst and come out in the form of pus. But this is very painful and the lumps get cured.

4. Grinding sunflower seeds and giving them with lots of water causes vomiting. Due to which the poison consumed is expelled from the body and the person gets cured.

5. Eating sunflower seeds mixed with double the sugar after meals cures Vata Pradhan Piles caused due to stomach gas problem in 15-20 days. But ghee, Khichdi and buttermilk should be consumed as much as possible.

6. Giving 2 to 5 grams of sunflower powder to children three times a day after meals for three days kills the stomach worms.
 After this, Triphala or castor oil should be used to clean the stomach. This will help in getting rid of stomach worms.

The person who has a strong immunity, germs cannot harm his body. Because the body's immunity kills those germs. The changes in the weather, the germs attack humans from time to time. Our immunity protects us from them. If it is weak, then the person keeps getting cold, cough, fever etc. again and again.


Causes of Weak Immunity

Not exercising regularly.

 Prolonged stay in a polluted environment.

 Unnecessary accumulation of fat in the body.

 Losing too much weight, consuming too much fast food, junk food etc.

The body is not getting proper nutrition.

 To become addicted to drugs.

 Consuming painkillers, antibiotics, etc. for a long time.

 Sleeping less for a long period of time or staying up late unnecessarily.

The immune system generally weakens during childhood and old age.

How to Increase Immunity by Ayurveda

Taking 10 to 20 ml of fresh Giloy juice in the morning on an empty stomach increases the immunity of the body or licking 5 grams of Giloy powder with honey increases immunity.

   Grind all three ashwagandha, vidhara and white musli into powder and keep it in a closed bottle. Taking one spoon of this with milk in the morning and evening gives strength to the body and increases the immunity of the body.

 By regularly consuming one spoon of Triphala powder with warm water at bedtime, the body's immunity power increases and the stool of the stomach gets cleared properly.


Ways to increase immunity through naturopathy 

  The ability to fight diseases will be strong only when the amount of vitamins and mineral salts in food is high. For this, carrots, spinach, beetroot, tomato, cauliflower, orange, papaya, almonds, milk, curd, whey etc. should be consumed more.

  The antioxidant properties present in cinnamon prevent blood clotting and help prevent the growth of harmful bacteria. Cinnamon also controls the body's blood sugar and cholesterol.

          Flaxseed is a very good immunity booster for our body. It has many properties to maintain the body. Omega 3 is not produced in our body on its own. It is consumed from food and other substances. Apart from this, flaxseed is a good source of omega 3 fatty acids for vegetarian people.

                                    Water

 Water is a natural medicine. By consuming it in abundance, the toxins accumulated in the body keep coming out and the body's immunity increases. Water should either be at normal temperature or slightly warm. Refrigerated water should not be consumed.

                   Sprouted grains

    Sprouted grains like moong, chana, moth etc. and soaked pulses should be consumed in abundance. Sprouting grains increases the potency of nutrients present in them. They become easy to digest, nutritious and tasty. Due to which the immunity power increases.

                      Cereals with bran

   Grains like wheat, jowar, bajra, maize should be consumed with bran. This prevents constipation and keeps the health good. This increases the immunity.

    Apart from having religious importance, Tulsi is also an antibiotic and a pain reliever. Tulsi helps in increasing immunity. Consuming 3 to 5 Tulsi leaves every morning maintains immunity in the body. 

                                  Giloy 

     Giloy is also called Amrita. Consuming 4-5 inches of Giloy's stem increases the immunity of the body. Giloy is a patented medicine for fever. Even chronic fever is cured by consuming Giloy. Therefore, consuming Giloy is extremely beneficial. Because it removes weakness of the body and gives strength to the body.

                          Enema 

If the stomach is not clean, sometimes you can take an enema to clean the stomach. Proper bowel movement on the stomach maintains immunity in the body.


                        Clay bar

If there is a complaint of constipation,  indigestion, diarrhea etc. then placing a mud bandage on the stomach is beneficial. This mud bandage can be kept for half an hour to 45 minutes. If this practice is done regularly then there is proper benefit. The mud should be clean and pure.


                      hip bath

      One should sit in a tub of cold water for 20 minutes on an empty stomach. Only the middle part of the body i.e. the waist area should be immersed in water. It is good to do this in the morning. Doing this gives strength to the stomach and increases the immunity of the body.

How to Increase Immunity by Yoga


                                     Posture 

             By doing asanas, fear comes inside the body and the body gets strength due to which the immunity of the body increases. Some asanas to increase the immunity of the body are Siddhasana, Padmasana, Vajrasana, Shavasana Sarvangasana, Shirshasana etc.

All these types of asanas should be practiced in the morning after defecation. There should be open air and calm environment.


                               Pranayama 

         Pranayama should also be practiced in the open air in a clean environment after defecation in the morning. In the practice of pranayama, mainly Kapalabhati and Nadi Shodhan Pranayama should be practiced. Doing this increases immunity in the body and gives strength to the body.

                                    currency

There are different types of mudras. Practicing mudras increases immunity in the body and gives strength to the body. All the yoga exercises should be done in the morning after defecation. By doing this the mind does not get agitated and mudras show good effects.

    Among the mudras, one should practice Khechari Mudra, Maha Mudra and Prana Mudra. These three types of mudras increase the immunity of the body.

                                 Attention

       Meditation stops the dispersion of mental power, due to which power gets accumulated in the body, the accumulation of power in the body increases the resistance to diseases. Kundalini meditation, Tratak meditation etc can be practised in meditation exercises.

     All these exercises should be done in the morning after defecation. If the meditation exercises are done during the twilight period, i.e., the time between day and night when day and night meet, then more success is achieved.

Friends, today we are going to talk about Sarpagandha. Sarpagandha is called Chota Chop, Chandrabhaag in Hindi and Chandrika in Sanskrit, Sarpagandha Dhawal Vihap. Due to being anti-serpants or snake venom, this plant species was named Sarpagandha. In Latin it is called Rauwolfia Serpentina.

      Where to get Sarpagandha

   Sarpagandha is mostly found in Himalayas, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Madras, Sri Lanka etc.

        How to identify Sarpagandha

   Sarpagandha is a perennial plant, 1 to 2 feet tall, small, erect, leaves are in bunches, milk comes out when broken. Its white flowers are sometimes pink in colour. Its stems are small and red in colour. Its roots are useful.

     What are the medicinal properties of Sarpagandha

   The root of Sarpagandha is dry, bitter, astringent, hot in nature, sharp and pungent. It is a deworming agent, beneficial in tridosha and destroys the venom of snake and scorpion. It is known since ancient times as a medicine for insanity. It is very beneficial in high blood pressure. Up to 3% of Sarpagandha contains 80 types of alkaloids, of which reserpine is the main one.

         Medicinal formulations of Sarpagandha

In Ayurveda, the following medicines are made from Sarpagandha 

       Sarpagandhadi powder, Sarpagandha yoga, Sarpagandha vati, Sarpina tablet etc.

             Uses of Sarpagandha

  The roots of Sarpagandha have been used since ancient times to remove the poisons of insects and snakes.

If a person is unable to sleep then he should take 2 grams of Sarpagandha powder with a glass of water 2 hours before going to bed. This will induce deep sleep. 

    In case of high blood pressure, 1 to 3 grams of Sarpagandha powder should be used twice a day, it is very beneficial in Ayurveda. Sarpagandha powder is used in Ayurveda, it is very beneficial in high blood pressure.

   Taking 1 gram of Ashwagandha powder with 250 ml of goat milk cures madness. This is a very beneficial medicine for madness. If the patient is unable to sleep in a manic state, shows symptoms like shouting, hitting, running etc., then the use of Sarpagandha is very beneficial. Or

Mixing 4 grams of Sarpagandha, 4 grams of Spikenard and 2 grams of sugar and giving it three times a day induces sleep and slowly the mania starts to subside.

  At the time of delivery, giving 1 gram of Sarpagandha powder with equal amount of sugar or honey to women two-three times a day at an interval of 2 hours helps in easy delivery and also reduces pain.

  In dysentery, repeated diarrhea and bleeding causes weakness. In this situation, giving Sarpagandha powder with Kutjarishta three to four times at an interval of two hours stops the bleeding. And from the same day, the dysentery patient starts getting relief.

   1 to 3 grams of Ashwagandha root powder along with an equal amount of black pepper decoction is used to remove snake venom.

                          Caution 

     Sarpagandha should be used only on strong patients. It can harm weak patients and should not be used when blood pressure is low.

Friends, man often suffers from cold, cough. To get rid of this, you can use Adusa salt bush. It is very beneficial. We will learn about its various uses later.



What is Adusa(Vasa) and how to identify it
     Adusa trees are shrubs with a height of 4 to 8 feet. Their leaves are 3 to 8 inches long and the flowers are white in colour and are located in two to three inch long clusters. They bloom in February to March. The bark on the stem is yellow. The pod is three-fourth inch long and hairy. Each one contains four seeds. This bush is spread in various branches near the ground above the root. A slight foul smell emanates from the leaves.
   Its leaves are always available from the green plant. They are taken in fresh state only. The leaves and flowers are dried in the shade and kept in a closed container in a cool place. The medicinal properties remain intact when used for 6 months.
     
 Names of Adusa 
  In Hindi it is called Adusa, Bisonta. In Sanskrit it is called Vasa, Vasak, Vasika. In Tamil it is called Adadorai. In Marathi it is called Andusa. In Bengali it is called Basak.
  Its scientific name is Adhatoda vasica.


Where to find Adusa tree 
It grows in gravelly soil at an altitude of 1200 to 1400 meters throughout India. Some of its species are also found in Bengal, Madhya Pradesh and Kerala.

    This is an Ayurvedic medicine. Taking one spoon of this with milk does not cause any type of cough disease in the body. It is beneficial in cough, cold and flu.

Uses and benefits of Adhatoda 

 Quantity --- Juice-10 to 20 ml
         Powder- 5 to 20 grams

1 Friends, for cough, one should mix 10 grams of Vasa leaves juice with 5 grams of honey and consume it in the morning and evening.
     If fresh leaves are not available, then licking the powder of flowers dried in the shade of Adusa along with honey gives the same benefits.
   Taking 50 ml decoction of Adusa bark is beneficial.

2 For whooping cough in children, decoction of Vasa root should be used two teaspoons three times a day.

3 In case of respiratory problems, 5 to 20 grams of its bark powder should be used.

4 In tuberculosis, the juice of Vasa leaves should be given with 10 grams of honey. Or the powder of Panchang, Siddha Ghrita also gives immediate relief when given with honey.

5. Mix the flowers of Vasa in double the quantity of sugar candy and store it in a clay or glass vessel. Gulkand is ready. If taken regularly in the quantity of 6 to 10 grams, it is very beneficial in respiratory diseases, blood bile, chronic cold, sinusitis and tuberculosis.

6 In asthma, it dilutes the phlegm and makes it come out immediately and reduces the flow of blood in the air sacs of the blood vessels. Smoking its leaves is also very beneficial in asthma.

7. Applying extract of Vasa leaves cures skin diseases.
8 Massaging the joints with oil prepared from the panchaang of Adhatoda vasica is beneficial in treating arthritis.

Disadvantages of Adhatoda

1 Priya Pathak: The use of Adhatoda can be harmful for pregnant women and small children. Please consult a doctor before use.
2. Diabetic patients should not use it without consulting a doctor.
3 Use of Adhatoda with ginger can cause dysentery or vomiting, so be cautious.

Based on the characteristics of uterus, vaginal tract, breast etc., women have to face many diseases from time to time, and menstruation is a different process from a human. Which happens to women after 28 days every month. Due to which the blood of women also comes out of the body during M.C. Due to which the hemoglobin in women decreases, and weakness occurs. Due to this weakness, women have to face many diseases. Which are as follows----


Leucorrhoea causes, symptoms and Ayurvedic treatment 

     

In this chaotic daily routine, Leucorrhoea has become a common disease for women. Just like men are mostly found to be suffering from one or the other type of Leucorrhoea out of the 20 types of Leucorrhoea. Similarly, women are usually found to be suffering from some or the other type of Leucorrhoea. If there is any kind of discharge from the vagina other than the days of menstruation, then it is called Leucorrhoea. Since it is white in colour, it is called Leucorrhoea. This discharge is brown, light yellow and whitish. It is sticky, thin, thick, foul-smelling and slimy. This disease is caused by tea, coffee and stimulant food, spicy food and mobile etc.


Leucorrhoea Home Remedies

This disease is cured by drinking two spoons of Indian gooseberry juice and one spoon of honey mixed together for 20-25 days.

   Mixing 3 gram Ashwagandha powder and 1 gram Banshlochan and consuming it with milk in the morning and evening also gives relief in this disease.

    Mixing two pinches of ground cumin in one spoon of Tulsi juice and consuming it in the morning and evening gives relief.

Consuming 3 gram Ashoka bark powder with cow's milk in the morning and evening is beneficial.

Taking one spoon of Nagkesar with buttermilk in the morning and evening for 20 days cures this disease.


       Leucorrhea Ayurvedic Treatment

 

1. Grind white musli, small gokhru, henna leaves, katira gum, kamarkas, 40 grams each and sugar candy 80 grams separately and mix them well. Make 40 packets of this. Taking one packet each with water in the morning and evening cures this disease.


2. Ashwagandha, Vidhara 100 grams each, cardamom 20 grams, Bang bhasma 10 grams, sugar candy 150 grams, grind all these finely and mix them, and after filtering keep in a CC with a lid. Consuming 5 grams of this powder with milk in the morning and evening cures this disease.


3. Taking two tablets of Chandraprabha Vati with water in the morning and evening also cures this disease.


 4. Taking Ashokarishta and Lohasava four spoons each with equal amount of water after meals provides great relief in this disease.

Menorrhagia causes and symptoms 

If a woman's menstruation lasts for more than three-four days and does not stop and the amount of menstruation is more than the normal amount every day, then it is called menorrhagia. In this disease, the body of the woman becomes weak and her health deteriorates. Therefore, efforts should be made to get rid of it quickly. This also happens due to eating hot and stimulating food, and this disease worsens if a balanced diet is not taken. 


 Menorrhagia Home Remedies


  Grind 1 gram of henna seeds and mix it with 250 grams of cow milk and consume it in the morning and evening to get relief.


  Mix 10 grams of Nagkesar and Malakangni seeds and 20 grams of sugar candy and keep it aside. Consuming 10 grams of this mixture with butter in the morning and evening is beneficial.


  Consuming 100 grams of carrot juice is beneficial.


  Grind 50 grams of betel nut flowers and keep it safe in a CC. Taking 6 to 10 grams of this mixture with water cures this disease.


  2 grams of Ashwagandha powder and 10 grams of sugar candy, both should be consumed with cow milk in the morning and evening.


 Ayurvedic treatment for Leucorrhea


1. Take equal quantity of Nagkesar, small cardamom seeds, Amla, Banshlochan and mix them in lemon juice and make 2 ratti tablets. Take it 3 times a day with water to get quick relief.


2. Taking Ashokarishta and Lohasava 4 spoons each in the morning and evening with equal amount of water after meals gives relief.


3. Taking Chandraprabha Vati and Shilajityadi Vati one tablet each in the morning and evening with milk cures the disease.

Som Rog Cause and Symptoms


In this disease, Som Dhatu is destroyed. That is why it is called Som Rog. Just as a man suffers from polyuria disease, similarly women suffer from Som Rog. In this disease, clear, cool, odorless, white water keeps flowing all the time. Even when it increases a lot, the patient woman is not able to stop the urge of urination and the dhoti gets wet while getting up. That is why the lower clothes of the patients suffering from this disease keep getting wet. This disease is also caused by eating food full of excitement and fried spicy food and watching mobile.

Som Rog Home Remedies


    Consuming urad flour, mulethi, vidarikand, honey and sugar candy mixed together with milk is beneficial.


    Consuming shatavar powder with one spoon of milk in the morning and evening is beneficial in this disease.


      Grinding amla seeds in water and mixing it with honey is beneficial in Som Rog.


      Consuming mulethi, amla, honey and milk mixed together cures Som Rog.

Som Rog Ayurvedic Treatment


          Licking Chandraprabha Vati 500 mg with honey in the morning and then consuming 3 gram Shatavari with milk gives relief in Som Rog. 


      Consuming 500 mg Tarkeshwar Ras 3 gram daily with honey and then drinking milk on top cures Som Rog. 


      Take 5 gram Chandraprabha Vati, Swarn Bhasm, Tribang Bhasm, Praval Bhasm and Mica Bhasm, one gram each, grind them and make 20 packets. Licking one packet with honey in the morning and evening and drinking milk on top cures this disease


Causes and symptoms of infertility


Separate treatment is done for both men and women. Because when a man and woman look healthy but still they are unable to have a child, then treatment is required. In common people's language, women who are unable to have a child are called infertile. There can be many reasons for this disease like obesity or any infection or congenital etc.

Infertility home remedies


Use of Nagkesar powder and Gokhru powder is beneficial in this disease.


Ashwagandha, Shatavar and Jeevanti make weak women healthy and capable of conceiving.


Consumption of sprouted moong keeps the body supplied with essential nutrients. Which removes infertility in women.

Ayurvedic treatment for infertility


    Taking 5 grams of Somghrita with milk in the morning helps in conception.


    Taking two tablets of Chandraprabha Vati with water in the morning and evening helps in conception.


    Ashokarishta and Patragasab 4-4 spoons each should be taken with equal amount of water in the morning and evening after meals. This helps in this disease.


    Taking one spoon of Phal Ghrita with milk in the morning and evening also helps.


 

Miscarriage causes and symptoms


Sexual intercourse during pregnancy, moving legs up and down while walking, jumping and running, sometimes fasting also causes miscarriage. This can also happen due to consumption of hot foods. If the fetus is aborted by the fourth month of pregnancy, this miscarriage is called srav. The miscarriage which occurs in the 5th or 6th month is called abortion. 

Home Remedies for Abortion


Grind the bark of the root or leaves of Aparajita in goat milk, filter it and drink it after adding honey, it prevents abortion.


Extract 10 grams of juice from the root of Ashwagandha Swet Kateri and consume it daily from the first month to the fifth month in the morning, there is no fear of abortion.


Make a decoction of the bark of the root of Guler and drink it after adding sugar, it stops abortion.


2 Ratti Prabal Bhasma, 50 grams of pure honey, 250 grams of cow milk, mix these three together and consume it, it prevents abortion.

 Abortion Ayurvedic Treatment


1. Taking a mixture of Siddha Makardhwaj, Mukta Pishti, Jeevpashan mixed with four ratti and taken with cold cow milk gives relief in case of miscarriage.

2.  Consuming Iron Bhasma mixed with Triphala powder also stops pregnancy.

3.  Licking one tablet of Garbhapal Ras with honey in the morning and evening stops pregnancy.

4.  Taking one spoon of Somras in the morning and evening with milk gives relief in miscarriage.

5. Taking four spoons of Ashwagandharishta Drakshsava mixed with equal amount of water after meals gives relief in miscarriage.

6. Taking one spoon of Shatavari Churna with milk in the morning and evening gives relief in miscarriage.
